Happy New Year

Happy New Year of the Rooster! Unfortunately we don't usually get rooster designs on fabrics that come through the shop.  This is a large embroidered woollen antique banner weight (with rabbits on the other side) which lives with me.
I've had a nice peaceful break and will reopen on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to another fabric-filled year. Thank you as always for supporting Wafu Works!

potd - Masks

I've just put these beautiful wooden masks out in the shop and in my online shop.
The first one is a  beautiful Noh theatre mask of a 'fukai' older woman character ($780).  The second is a rather glossy oni demon used in the  onikenbai 'demon sword dance' from Iwate prefecture ($350).

Katazome Washi

I've just got in this lovely handmade katazome  (stencil-dyed) paper - A4 size.  I'm selling mixed packs of ten on my website or you can email me if you'd like to select designs.  They're $3.80/sheet.
